What is Sneha?

The Sneha Childrens Home is a school that focuses on education of children with learning disabilities due to speech and hearing impairments, as well as children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

Sneha is managed by RIDES, a non-profit non-governmental organization (NGO).

Currently, Sneha supports 128 children. Among them: 60% are hearing impaired, 20% are orphans, 15% are AIDS affected, and 3-5% come from a single parent household.

Purpose of Sneha

The Sneha Childrens Home provides special education for disadvantaged youth so they may integrate into the mainstream educational system.
